If you’re curious about your home’s potential, have concerns about the property, or feel unsure where to begin, our Free Home Visit is tailored for you. It’s designed for anyone wanting to understand what’s possible and explore practical next steps.
One of our friendly, expert assessors will spend up to 30 minutes at your home, discussing your budget, interests, and the range of options available. During the visit, they’ll give you a broad overview of any issues and opportunities they identify.
This visit is a great first step if you’re just beginning to explore home energy improvements. It’s designed to help you get a clearer picture, ask questions and build confidence about what to do next. If you already have an idea of what you want to do – like upgrading insulation, heating systems or windows – and need more in-depth technical advice, a full assessment such as a Home Energy Efficiency Plan might be a better fit.
This advice service is offered in partnership with Retrofit West, and is funded by the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority. It's available through BWCE for residents of Bath & North East Somerset (residents of Bristol and South Gloucestershire can access the same service from Retrofit West).
