What’s a Home Energy Neighbourhood?
A Home Energy Neighbourhood is a small group of neighbours with similar homes who come together to learn how to improve their energy efficiency – with expert support from BWCE throughout.
You may have already had a home energy assessment with us, or we can book one for you at a discounted rate.* You then invite neighbours over for a relaxed get-together at your home (we’ll provide an invitation template and help you organise the event).
It’s a simple, informal session – we'll host it for you and guide the discussion. At the get-together, you will:

Learn from a qualified home energy assessor
Share ideas and experiences
Talk through next steps, from quick wins to bigger upgrades
Enjoy a catering budget and fun time!

How it works
1. Register your interest below
Tell us a bit about your home and your neighbourhood. We’ll then book you in for a discounted home energy assessment if you’ve not had one yet.*
2. Find at least three neighbours to join your get-together
We’ll help you organise a friendly session at your home and also provide a catering budget.
3. Enjoy the get-together with your neighbours
One of our Home Energy experts will facilitate the session by guiding the discussion, sharing insights and answering any questions.
4. Learn and take action together!
You’ll leave with ideas for what to do next and where to get ongoing support.

Hosting a get-together gives you access to:
£100 for a Heat Pump Assessment (normally worth £760 for a 4-bedroom home) or £160 for a Futureproof Survey (normally worth £960 for a 4-bed home).
