Sara Grimes

Head of Community Business Development 

Sara is taking a lead on BWCE’s new business development with an early focus on resourcing and incubating grant funded and paid services to help people live in warmer, greener homes.

She worked in local government for 13 years on climate initiatives for the built environment, including Bath & North East Somerset’s net zero planning policies. Prior to this she worked in the US as regional director of an environmental and consumer advocacy group. She has an MSc in Environmental Policy from the University of Oxford.

In her spare time, Sara is a director of Eco Together, a charity which helps small groups of people find their own power to act on the climate crisis and enjoys road running.
