Alison Turnbull

Head of Renewables Development

Alison is responsible for overseeing the development of BWCE’s renewable assets by working closely with Empowered, our asset developers, whilst delivering the optimum performance from all BWCE assets through the management of Bright Renewables, our Asset Managers. 

She is also responsible for coordinating and delivering BWCE’s innovation business area, such as local supply, from both existing and new assets. Bringing over 30 years of experience in the community renewable energy industry, from the development of small to medium sized roof top solar installations to larger ground mount arrays, plus the delivery of a number of innovative research projects on domestic flexibility and the pursuit of a local supply business.
