We look forward to bringing our BWCE Community Energy Roadshow to Peasedown this June where we can share our work and join with our partner organisations in helping you find out:

  • How to make your home more energy efficient for next winter
  • How we are installing renewable energy for schools, businesses and communities
  • What support and funding is available for yourself and your community
  • How to invest in community owned renewables and earn up to 5% interest per annum

Bath & West Community Energy (BWCE) is a not for profit community enterprise that has installed solar panels for free at a number of local schools and is developing projects to help people to make their homes more energy efficient.

Some of our solar schools in the local area are:

  • Norton Hill School
  • Peasedown St John’s Primary School
  • Somervale School
  • St John’s, Midsomer Norton
  • Writhlington School

Drop in anytime between 2.30pm and 6pm to meet us and other partner organisations:

BWCE – we’ll be exhibiting our work to develop local renewables, our planned energy efficiency project, community benefit funding available, community investment opportunities, and more!

B&NES Open Green Homes – learn about an event coming soon where you can visit homes that have made energy efficiency improvements

Bright Green Homes – funding available for energy efficiency improvements for households who are off-gas

Lendology – a Community Interest Company that provide low cost energy efficiency and renewable energy loans

Centre for Sustainable Energy – a local charity who will be advising on all aspects of energy efficiency

Peasedown Environment Group – improving the local environment
