BWCE’s renewable energy projects have generated 1,696MWh from 1st April 2022 to end of June 2022.
- That’s on target for the year to date.
- Equivalent to the electrical demand from 3,075 homes during that period.
- Meaning a carbon reduction of 402 Tonnes CO2e
- Equivalent to 21,300 journeys from Bath to Edinburgh via train

We will be installing 625KW on school roofs over summer 2022, including our biggest ever rooftop system at Beechen Cliff School in Bath!
- 260KW on Beechen Cliff School
- 160KW at Norton Hill School in Midsomer Norton
- 114KW at Somervale School in Midsomer Norton
- 91KW at Hayesfield School in Bath
We are aiming to install 1MW of rooftop solar this year and will soon be issuing a new share offer to raise £1 million to fund the installation of our growing pipeline of projects.
