Statement of Directors’ Earnings
BWCE is committed to financial transparency and openness and offers information on Director earnings in this spirit.
In financial year ending March 2021:
- As Managing Director, Peter Capener earnt £50,923 plus pension contributions
- As Chair, Jane Stephenson earnt £6,365
All other elected and co-opted directors offer their time on a purely voluntary basis.
In financial year ending March 2022:
- As Managing Director, Peter Capener will earn £57,976 plus pension contributions, following a 1.2% standard of living increase and an increase in time paid from 4 to 4.5 days per week.
- As Chair, Jane Stephenson will earn £3,221, following a 1.2% standard of living increase. Jane resigned as chair at the end of September 2021.
All other elected and co-opted directors offer their time on a purely voluntary basis.
Shareholdings
At the end of the March 2021, Directors held the following shares on exactly the same terms as members. Shares issued before Feb 2019 have a 3.5% plus RPI target, and those issued after Feb 2019 have a fixed 4% target. All interest subject to project performance.
