Statement of Directors’ Earnings
BWCE is committed to financial transparency and openness and offers information on Director earnings in this spirit.
In financial year ending March 2022:
- As Managing Director, Peter Capener earnt £57,976 plus pension contributions for 4.5 days per week
- As Chair, Jane Stephenson earnt £3,365 before resigning in September 2021
All other elected and co-opted directors offer their time on a purely voluntary basis.
In financial year ending March 2023:
- As Managing Director, Peter Capener is paid for 5 days per week and will earn £67,875 plus pension contributions, following a 5% standard of living increase and an increase to full time working.
All other elected and co-opted directors offer their time on a purely voluntary basis.
Shareholdings
At the end of the March 2021, Directors held the following shares on exactly the same terms as members. Shares issued before Feb 2019 have a 3.5% plus RPI target, up to a maximum of 7%, and those issued after Feb 2019 have a fixed 5% target. All interest subject to project performance.
