Publow with Pensford Parish Council declared a climate emergency in February 2020 and established a working group to share information, generate ideas, create actions and empower the local community to help deliver carbon neutrality by 2030 through an agree action plan and targets.

The Parish Council want to to investigate options for Publow with Pensford being able to generate its own renewable energy. They are working with BWCE to carry out preliminary feasibility studies and would like to find out what local residents think.
