A draft report by Wychwood Biodiversity Limited has highlighted that BWCE’s Wilmington solar farm is “an impressive site from a biodiversity perspective, with a species-rich wild flower grassland growing throughout the site, mature species-rich hedgerows and tussock grassland at its margins.”

We have commissioned the report to develop options for improving biodiversity on this site with initial recommendations including planting trees and installing bat boxes, bird boxes and bug hotels.
