Beechen Cliff School (Bath)

This installation generates enough energy to power an electric car for 1,185,000 miles. That 5 times the distance to the moon each year!

Norton Hill School (Midsomer Norton)

Number of solar panels: 414
Roof area covered: 785 m2
PV Generated Energy/year: 145,500 kWh
Carbon saved/year: 32 tonnes
Carbon saved over the 25 year life of the installation: 800 tonnes
Proportion of the school’s electricity demand met by solar: 21%

This installation generates enough energy to power 47 homes every year!

Somervale School (Midsomer Norton)

PV generator output: 114 kWp
Number of solar panels: 296
Roof area covered: 561 m2
PV Generated Energy/year: 106,000 kWh
Carbon saved/year: 23 tonnes
Carbon saved over the 25 year life of the installation: 570 tonnes
Proportion of the school’s electricity demand met by solar: 26%

This installation generates enough energy to charge 2,650,000 iPhones every year!!

Hayesfield School (Bath)

Roof area covered: 460 m2
PV Generated Energy/year: 83,600 kWh
Carbon saved/year: 18 tonnes
Carbon saved over the 25 year life of the installation: 450 tonnes
Proportion of the school’s electricity demand met by solar: 21%

This installation generates enough energy to power an electric car for 420,000 miles. That’s 17 times around the world every year!
