We will be holding BWCE’s AGM on the evening of the 27th September, at the Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution (BRLSI) in Queens Square in Bath.
Full details of the AGM, agenda and papers will be circulated nearer the time.
However, we are now starting this year’s election for two non-executive directors to join BWCE’s board. Six excellent candidates have put their names forward. We are excited by their skills and experience as well as their enthusiasm for BWCE and what we are trying to achieve. We hope you will be too.
If you are a BWCE member, please vote for who you would like to be on the board of your community enterprise!
This year Jon Bateman is resigning by rotation and will be standing for re-election. Jane Stephenson is moving from being an elected non-executive director to an executive chair and so won’t be standing for re-election. As a result, the election this year will be for two directors to take the board back up to its full complement of 5 non-executive directors.
See here for information about the current board and executive team. We are particularly pleased to be welcoming Sonya Bedford, who will be joining the board as a co-opted director after the AGM. Sonya heads up the renewable energy team at lawyers Stephens Scown.
