Ali Akbar is a renewable energy professional with over a decade of experience delivering solar and battery storage projects across the UK, Middle East, and India. He currently works with Luminous Energy in Corsham, leading utility-scale solar projects from early development through to construction and financial close.

His experience spans projects from 100kW commercial rooftops to 450MW utility-scale systems. He has delivered over 100MWp of rooftop solar projects and is working on a portfolio exceeding 600MW of utility-scale developments.

Holding a Master’s in Energy Science and Engineering, Ali Akbar combines strong technical expertise with commercial and financial insight. He is also pursuing an MBA at Imperial College London to further enhance his leadership and strategic capabilities.
