Adam Walton

Non-executive Director

Adam is a management consultant who has spent his career working on strategy and change projects for large companies, particularly in financial services. He also has held senior management positions in large companies so brings considerable business experience to BWCE.

He has experience in the not-for-profit sector, having been a Board member of the Pound Arts Trust in Corsham for several years. He has always been concerned with environmental issues, and started a branch of the Ecology Party in his local constituency at the age of 18 – a doomed venture in a true blue area.

He is one of the founder members of Transition Community Corsham (Transcoco), an active transition town group in Corsham which has worked in the local area on a number of sustainability issues, including energy efficiency, transport improvements, plAdam Waltonunity Energy (CCE) with Jeff Kenna. Through links with Transition Bath, both organisations realised that it made sense to merge CCE into the similar business being developed by Transition Bath.

Adam was a director of the newly formed BWCE up to the first fund raising, and has since continued his involvement as non-executive director.
